Privacy notice
Effective 9 September 2026
This notice explains how Grant Finlay, trading as 5Pager in Scotland (“5Pager”, “we”, “us”), handles personal information submitted through this website. 5Pager is the data controller for that information.
Information we collect
When you apply, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- your name, work email, business name and current website;
- your answers about the business, the website gap and buying readiness;
- the page and referral information attached to the visit, including campaign parameters such as UTM tags, gclid or fbclid when present; and
- the time of submission and a non-sequential application reference.
The application system does not intentionally store your IP address, browser headers or payment details. Do not put special-category or confidential personal data in the free-text fields.
Why we use it
We use application data to assess fit, answer you, prepare a proposal and take steps you request before entering a contract. We also use limited campaign information for our legitimate interest in understanding which marketing brings suitable applications. Where a contract follows, we use the information needed to deliver it and meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
Who receives it
Information is available to Grant and to service providers used to host the website, store the application and operate essential business systems. They may process data only for those services and under the protections required by applicable data-protection law. We do not sell application data.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
An unsuccessful or dormant application is normally deleted within 12 months. If you become a client, relevant project, contract, payment and accounting records may be kept for longer where needed to provide the service, resolve a dispute or comply with law.
Cookies and advertising measurement
At launch, this site uses no non-essential cookies and installs no advertising pixel. Campaign parameters supplied in the landing-page address can be stored with an application so we can attribute it. If analytics, remarketing or another non-essential tracker is added later, this notice and the site’s consent controls will be updated first.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. To make a privacy request, use the application form, put “Privacy request” at the start of both long answers and use “Privacy request” as the business name. It will not be treated as a sales application.
Changes
This notice may change when the service or its suppliers change. The effective date above shows the current version.
